GLOM

ANTI-Conglomerate one of a kind, handmade tee shirt pop up

A one of a kind experience in creating branding, hype, social and phsycial advertising presence, desiging a storefront and customer experience and designing the product. Glom blew up on campus, creating mystique and a small cult following that led to a huge turn out at our t-shirt pop up event. A culmination of 20 artists created around 200+ original, hand-made t-shirts, using Illustrator, a vinyl cutter, and heat press.

Role: art director, shirt designer, hanger designer, social media team,
website coder/creator

The shirts

Each artist made a minimum of 6 completely unique shirts, in one size to create that limited edition feel. To the right & below are some of mine. Featured in the image is a hanger tag that I created for our brand for consistency across all shirts at the event.

I sold all six of my shirts during the first 40 minutes of our two hour event.

TURNOUT: 200+ people showed up, with 25 waiting out side the front door waiting for it to open in the chilly 40 degree weather.

The website

If you’re gonna have a pop up, you need a website. No problem. I HTML coded a quick and simple site with vauge information on who we were and what we were doing. This was to add to the allure /mystery of GLOM itself, which stirred much talk around Eugene and on socials. I got countless messages, including from professors and friends asking “WTF is Glom?”
